The TAC 60 is the new generation of TAC units and represents a quantum leap in circuit design and sound design to the already known TAC devices dar. This claim is already evident in the design of the case: The case is made of solid aluminum and are the views of the preamplifier section by an acrylic window free. The writing in this window is illuminated, but can be switched off if required.

The power stage is of 8 pcs. Russian 6CA7 tubes formed. These are similar to the EL34 tubes, but have higher power reserves and a much better sound. The output transformers were manufactured from 0.28 mm thin special steel. Compared to conventional material with 0.35 mm thick sheet excellent transmission quality is achieved across the entire frequency spectrum in conjunction with the complex nested winding structure.

Thus you can enjoy excellent highs, detailed mids and powerful bass. To reduce spurious mechanical influences, and to minimize electromagnetic interference, the transformer found in a shielded enclosure again, which was also poured out. The power transformer was designed as a toroidal transformer, thus the internal resistance of the transformer is minimized, which has a much better stability of the power supply at loud or bass-heavy sound passage of the result. However, the innovation of the TAC V-60 is the automatic bias voltage and constant current control system. This sovereignty is paying off: the reproduction of the finest sonic detail, clarity and spatial at the same time enormous power reserve are the major strengths of the TAC V60.

The power supply was designed as a MOSFET constant current source with combined voltage regulation. This means rapid deployment of the corresponding power depending on music playback. This form of the power supply is to reduce the requirement for the noise level to extremely low values, to reduce the harmonic distortion and to provide a clear sound in any situation and desired volume.

The result is significantly clearer mids and highs at the same time powerful bass reproduction. In the V-60 only the best components have been installed, as an example may be mentioned WIMA capacitors, as well as SOLEN and MKP. The tube sockets are gold plated, just like the speaker terminals.
